HSO 1.9 - a stability improvement

Option has been quietly working away on driver improvements. The latest version includes many suggestions and improvements from the community.

I am told this version is almost identical to the driver currently shipping with kernel 2.6.28. The prime difference is that this version will compile on older 2.6 kernels. (How old a kernel I cannot say!).

Anyway you can download the latest driver from here.

hso 1.9 far more stable than stock 2.6.28

Hi Pharscape and all the readers there.

I have to say that the 1.9 release is different than that of the stock 2.6.28 kernel version.
The differences are enough to be able to avoid a crash beyond the MB of bytes transfered. This crash seems to be the rule with all the pre-1.9 I was able to test.
BUT, BUT, with this release as well as the previous ones, don't try to slide off the ICON 225 whenever you are still connected: the crash will return as soon as the key is off.

Thank you to the developer team!
